Post We managed last minute limits down to Anderson today!
I wanted to scrape out every pennys worth of my liscense, and got the invite for a boatride, today.
Anderson treated us right! Nothing big, and a bit of one here, one there, not finding a concentration untill the end of the short day.
Water is COLD at around 52-54 degrees.
It got more murky now, at about 2-4 foot vis.
Gorgious day though!!
Slow dragged stuff at 15-30 feet. Read a lot more fish deeper (and tried the "Jerbs" there, but most were 20-35 feet. I was real surprised to not see the fish suspending anymore. Most were right down tight to bottom.

What a way to end the year!! DINKS for both of us (well Rats, technically, I got a couple of "Dinks")

Bro got 6 to his thunmb (all 12-15 inches)
I got 7 to my thumb with 2 at 7 and 10 inches! [green] But I did get a legal imit (12-15)out of the day! [red]

Fun part was another darned steelhead looking thingy hooking up, and jumping all around!! WooHoo!!

'08 has been GREAT!!
Luck AND SCREAMING DRAGS, TO ALL OF YA IN '09!!

(Jerbs DUDE! Still some knarly stuff on the finder!! Just could NOT get them to bite!)

P.S. Did Calero last Friday for 1 fish...wait till March, there, folks! (Just saying...)

The fish are getting that post front lockjaw now. We hit it the day after a front.
I think it's a better bite IN the rain. (Same with Calero)
I'll give you guys a hint, 3" baits work! But ya gotta move em slow.

A side note: this is the second chrome trout I've hooked into this fall at Anderson. Makes we wonder if some trolling castmasters, or in-line spinnes, or small jointed rapalas, might just pay off!?
