Calero Winter nonbite!

Went Saturday for my first skunk for the year. The water is low and cold.

Wow, only one skunk so far, which means the rest all yield fish. :-) On the other hand, Winter is the best time to get those big 5+ lb fish. I have seen many huge bass caught around this time.

I think I will try Sherman Island in the Delta after the winds subside

Yes Mushypull, I don't get get skunked at Anderson and Calero very much. Keep in mind I have been fishing these lakes for about 30 years now. I honestly believe the next trip will result in a catch or more. 😎🤠👌👍🏼
