STARTING JAN. 12. 2009
ANDERSON LAKE:
Open Friday through Tuesday ( and Holidays)
Closed Wed. and Thurs.
CALERO RESERVOIR
Open Wednesday though Sunday
Closed Monday and Tues.
COYOTE LAKE and STEVENS RESERVOIR
CLOSED: Starting Jan 12 2009 to April 14. 2009
These 4 reservoirs are still open to shoreline fishing
Beginning April 15. 2009 though June 30. 2009 all four reservoirs will re-open 7 days a week.


At this time, funding has not been approved beyond June 30. 2009

To think it all started with some idiot who went to some lake with zebra mussels and launch in San Justo. Now were goning to miss a good spawn at Coyote.

Pretty sure that the closure is 12 January not 1 January. That information is from an email sent to our club (Gilroy Bassmasters) from a senior park ranger.

The inspection schedules do start on January 12, not the 1st.

I called the number and they confirmed that all closures go into effect on 1/12/09. Perhaps the gentleman you spoke with has already started celebrating the new year. lol Thanks though cause I will be going to Coyote and would've been pissed if it was closed before the dates they gave me at Calero.

I was at yote today and saw the
Paper at the ranger station that says
The 12th lol

we might not miss alot of it though.. depends on the weather till the opening of the boating date.. it could be on fire right around that time too.. and it could last all the way through may too...
Don't fret.. it might just be a good thing with no fishing pressure on the lake .. it might be expolsive by then...

Last day to LAUNCH IS the 11th.....

That Monday the 12th there will no longer be any INSPECTIONS!!!!!...

So if ya wanna hit ur FAV lake for the last time for a while...I will b the SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!!!!!....For sure...

Its the SEASON FINALE of Living On Yote Lake!!!!....lol..
