I fished italian slough this morning from shore....there were boils everywhere....on the other side of the bank. I couldn't entice any of them with my injected lunker punker or rattle traps. looked like the shad they were chasing were super small. I did get a few small largemouth on senko's though.

I will start a count. We may even be getting some lures for a raffle, but not 100 percent yet. Looking like it may happen.

I'm very interested in going, just not 100% sure yet. Still trying to figure out the whole boat situation, if I can find couple people to split a boat rental with, I'm definitely going! Never been striper fishing nor to the delta, so it should be quite an experience. Hope to see you guys out there in October.

Dude your totally missing out!!!!! The Delta is the SH!T!!!!...Scarry at times though.......hehe i seen some ruff days...But if it gets ruff tuck into a marina and fish...Thats why i hit franks tract up alot....If it gets too fuff got plenty of cover and docks/marinas to fish!!!!...

jr...you're just getting me even more riled up about this trip. I gots to go for sure...haha. hopefully I'll figure something out to get my a$$ out there. sounds like a good opportunity to try and catch my first striper! got my lunker punker already, just need to change out the split rings and hooks like Marone suggested.

I don't know who from the Turdz is going. But any extra spots I got on my boat, totally open for whomever doesn't have a boat. Looks like we are selling our 30 footer so I'll be camping or renting a house boat for the weekend.

So what's the count? Is everyone just going to be camping wherever and meeting up? I've never camped at the Delta so I don't know what it's like. I heard at Tower Park you can get your own slip for your boat which would be sweet!

Let me know if this is actually going to happen and the details so I can get a spot somewhere.

Sup dude. All I confirmed is Jr and Myself. Kev said he was down but he gots mad kids so you never know. IBangBangU is a maybe.

I may have to call it off if not enough people go as some close friends are having their wedding shower that weekend.

I was hoping for like a 20 deep party at the Beacon Harbor Campsite getting drinks at the Rusty Porthole and smashing the linesiders and largies all weekend... Beacon Harbor is basically a huge patch of grass right behind the levy next to Russo's marina. You can put your boat in there and use slip for as long as you like. It's central delta so you can pretty much go any direction from there.

Eurojett was going to pitch in some lures for a raffle but looks like everyone might just get their own...if it still happens. We'll see how the count goes before the end of the week and either call it confirmed or canceled.

I'm in and I'm working on getting SJHerms and another buddy to go, but we're nowhere near 20 deep. A wedding shower are you kidding? WTF dude's don't go to those!! So I'll assume you were joking and that this bitch is on even with under 20 cabezas!

Haha, these people call it a wedding shower but it's going to 25 skateboarders and their drunk girlfriends (some from Guam, they are devils) getting hammered and watching horse races at Golden Gate Fields, ending it in a club and most likely, everyone will end up shirtless. really awesome drunks.
