hey guys going out today... just holla if u see me....

I caught another 3 today. first two i caught on my 3rd anf 4th cast of the day.and i have my bros lil yellow berkely scale today to weigh em...
first fish was 1 3/4 lbs

fish 3 and hr or so later lil over 2 lbs. Asked my boy to hold it up for my while i took a pic.


all were caught on that same crank bait.... but i did switch up after a few cast after i caught that second fish and tried a jig, my spinners for an hr then went back to the crank bait and caught that 3rd fish on the first cast. My two buddies got skunked today though.....

umm whats up with the gloves?? it couldnt have been cold , its been in the 70's up there...

what did you buy at coyote on saturday when i saw you? I got revo toro 6.4:1 50, daiwa zillion coastal, zillion swimbait rod 7'4", and some lures...

ya i went out yesterday i got 2 one was on her bed it took me like 15 minutes to finally aggrevate her enough to move my jig off her bed and then i set the hook... thankyou chris( my new freind that i met out at almaden) for letting me fish that bed with you... i recommened u guys go out to almaden those fish are already staged up on their beds. but remember to let her go as fast as possible because the longer shes off her bed the easier it is for predators to get her eggs,

Nice fish Nicholas. It sounds like you care about the bass spawn but you damage the gills holding the fish that way. Always 'lip' them and don't bend them horizontally while doing this.
It's ridiculous that even the angler guides and famous tournament fisherman treat fish like trash. The fish are what make the dream come true for us all. I hope you all remember to respect them and nature.

oh it may look like my fingers are in his gills but they are just folded up against my palm.... but ya next time ill try to hold the fish horrizontally

Went out for a bit yesterday morning around 9-10:30am... Got a couple little ones on the Mall side of the lake. The SCVWD was spraying pesticide all over the weeds so I took off and came back later in the afternoon. Caught about 4 fish in 30 minutes right around dusk... Looks like the lake is starting to heat up a bit.

I'm gonna head out to the oakridge ponds tomorrow around 8-9ish in the morning. If anyone is out there or wanta to meet up lemme know. I'll be in the re sf baseball hat and I'll have a black packback on. Lemme know i need all the help I can get. If anyone wanta ro hit me up my number is 408-799-0093. I'll have to try and find those ponds on map. I might be up for fishing them some tomorrow. Will depend on what time car gets fixed. Sorry about last post. It wasn't directed at you but more so the guides and pros. I wasn't in a good mood either at time i wrote it without thinking. Maybe I'll see you guys out there one day soon. ( I never knew myself that holding them horizontal damages there jaw structure without supporting the body. I found the info in my research on the species)
