 Re: OAkridge Pond Fishing! We came out with nothing.
But, we went out today around evening time and I pulled a 1.5lber from under 85 and a ton of <1lbers from the creek. The "catch" of the day came from the creek when my buddy pulled this one out with a 7 inch trick worm:

Re: OAkridge Pond Fishing! how do you get to the creek next to the ponds? the only access i know is right where the fence is (where the water comes into the ponds)

Re: OAkridge Pond Fishing! I went out last friday morning with a friend and we got a few bites, but didn't land anything, I had one on and lost it while trying to pull it in. Sucks that we got skunked, but it was still fun getting out there.
Has anyone else been going out and catching anything here lately?

Re: OAkridge Pond Fishing! Stopped by tonight, went to the pond right behind Denny's and saw something huge at the edge. Don't know exactly what it was but damn thing had to be 20" long with some solid girth. Probably a carp but used to seeing them golden/brown (from my c&r bowfishing days  ) not green, may have just been the die.

Re: OAkridge Pond Fishing! I was out there earlier also, tried senko rigged wacky in a few colors, walked the dog on a top water lure, spinner and even a plastic crawdad. I still got skunked  I had a nice chat with a guy fishing the creek. Oh well I'll try again later on in the week and go back to almaden on monday
