hey guys went out today...I met jigster today.....nice to meet u jigster but i had big one hooked up maybe a 3 or 4 pounder and i lost him right at the rocks under the bridge at almaden right as i was about to lip him the hook came out... i was so mad i almost threw my rod to the ground... it was really tough today those fish were getting spooked really easy... so i decided to try something realy slow since thos fish werent willing to chase a bait or were just scared from fast moving baits so i tried dead sticking my secret bait again and i hooked onto that one but lost him... im not lieing hahaha..

went out today i got 2 on jerkbaits srry dont have any pics just a video so i will post that up once i edit it,, one was 3.4 pounds and the other was 1.5 pounds both on their beds ...it was so fun getting the first one it was on the spro mc stick and i pissed him off so much that after i casted right as it hit the water he bit it and he was aggresive againt my jerkbait i was just giving a jerk jerk and pause for 3 sec and he would hammer it on the pause

Nice fish, but should you really be laying them on the ground like that? I read that it can mess up the slime layers and possibly cause infection.

I also heard the same thing so i'm assuming that it is probably true. I don't think we should be doing that....

hes aware of that..just to complicated to hold the rod camera and fish at the same time, and he's the type to get the fish back in the water like right away. But he knows that the fish will lose its slime.

My wife had to work so I was at home with my kids........that's actually the reason why it took so long to set the date to begin with......i was tryin to plan it on a day she didn't work and she ends up working....@#$%!!!!!.........i'll have to catch the next one....anyway...i figured that whoever showed up would handle the weigh ins....it looked like you guys had fun......even though more than half didn't show....including myself...
