Head's Up if you're gonna striper fish =P
Not to put a plug in but to help out ly's has some bada$$ new lures in thar I've been waiting for for two weeks for stripers. And he's a knowlwdgeable fella. I plan to grab a bunch when Ihave some free time today or tomorrow. As for a report I've been fishing the bay to no avail. Can't find time to get out during the right tides but that spot by Genentech is amazing. Check it out. I fished Capitola the other day too. Super windy but both my boy amd I had hali hits off the wharf. Go get em!

Re: Head's Up if you're gonna striper fish =P
I dont own a digital camera for various reasons but if I can find a way I definitely will. How's it been over at Marina. I think im snakebit right now. I havent had a bite in my last 6 outtings. I thought I'd be able to get somethin in the bay but its a no-go. Oh well... Im working the next 9 days in a row so maybe when I have a day off again things will have gotten better. I anyone knows any spots and feel charitable I'm sure we could set up a network. A lot of guys on the beaches have their own little clubs and scout out dif areas. When one gets into a bite he calls the others and they mob the spot. WE should have that!

Are the lures made out of woods or plastics?

Re: Head's Up if you're gonna striper fish =P
I'm trying to upload the picture right now but my IPhone is not cooperating. If someone wants to PM me their number I'll send them to you. Basically, they're Point Jude mickeys and a few different topwater lures. I have ordered Point Jude mickeys online before and they cast absolutely AMAZING. I can throw a 3.5 oz jig of theirs almost 100 yards with my surf setup on a mild day. The topwater lures I recognize, I believe there may be some stores in the SF area that have them but for the San Jose area and south I dont know of any places that have the wooden lures that Ly's has. It took me FOREVER to find some of the color combinations I wanted for poppers and one day I walked into there since its the closest to my house and he had em. Sad sad day for me. Aaanyways, PM me and I'll try to make this happen. I took pics of all the new lures but I was mainly concerned with the Point Judes and these funny looking topwater ones. I've never seen any modern lures like them before.
