Caught on the top of the incoming tide. Ghost/Eel combo on the death rig. Fished in 24ft of water by old train bridge by dumbarton. Measured at 49" and approx. 40-45lbs.

Thanks kahuna,
he was mighty tastey. Sturgeon is probably the most boring fishing but definetly worth waiting for those lil pumps you get on your rod. Nothing feels any better than doing a hard hook set on these dinosaurs.

Ya hah! your the 2nd person that mentioned that....im actually on the bow of a 18ft bayrunner, thats why it seems like its super deep...In the morning and somtimes throughout the whole day...its freakin glass out there during winter.. and even if it does get windy, there are a bunch of places that you can hide from the wind and its really calm. TIGHT LINES BRO!

a boat is every fishermans dream to have. We launched out of alviso. A lot of boat traffic that weekend.

What's funny is that I actually do have a 12 footer but rarely use it. Too much work to prep it for a short fishing period. Plus I got it for my son and me and he gets bored. He'd rather be able to run around if the bite is slow.
