around hayward and oakland only place i know is chabot lake.

What are you fishing for? First thing I would do is take a look at some maps and start researching from there... Also there is tons of fishable salt water near that area... Get out there and try it out... Let us know what you find.

When I first moved here I got on Google maps and went to about 2 to three new spots a day unitil i found some spots that were cool for me... This is to say, they might not be someone else cup o' tea... Get me? Same way Ryan, how you prefer clear lake and me yote...
