went to almaden but did not know where to park?can u even fish there or park anywhere .cause all we seen was no parking any time signs.
so we went to calero one dink

Almaden is really low right now. Super weedy too. If you read those
signs they say " No parking from Old Almaden to Hicks rd. "
The rangers say a lot of teens use to go out there and drink and fight, that's why they don't allow you to
park there anymore. So you can park at the park nearest Almaden an walk.
Or like we do, go all the way to the back and park at old Almaden and hicks rd.
You'll see the parking spots in the dirt.
Almaden is a huge hit in the spring and summer when the water level is high.
Caught many of 5-6 #'ers there on the regular. But right now it's so low, its pretty
difficult to catch anything there right now.
