ha, yeah damn thing is older than I am. Some of the stuff I inherited - heavy with slow gears but smooth drag and really simple to take apart and clean. I bring the old warriors out now and then, the old man woulda appreciated them being used still I think. Tough little reels, over 40 years service and still running strong, I'm not sure my Calcutta TE can even pull that off!
My bad guys, got some pms and I figure I can answer em all on the thread. Should have clarified, SM is San Mateo. I wouldn't focus overly much on location, I'm sure you'd find them moving into Alameda just as well - it's my exp that once the fish show in the south bay, there are generally scattered schools working the entire south bay. But the fall migration has begun.....I think
Fish hit live muddies on a slider rig, 12"-18" (forgot

) 30lb mono leader, 2/0 owner live bait cutting point, 2oz weight. As you can see from the pics, fish were pulled from a tidal slough.
