My dad and I took our annual trip to Florida near the St Johns river and had a dream trip.

He got his biggest ever a 12.2 and I got an 11 and 10.5

I caught my two big guys the first day so the 2nd day I decided to film a bit and sure enough he got his 12.2 while I was filming. Out there we use these huge Shiners, maybe a half pound its nuts. I don't fish shiners ever but our there, its differenet but a lot of fun. Check it out. We also saw 3 Bald Eagles fighting over a bass one had caught.

If you ever have a chance to do it..its worth it.

yeah the water was down so those usually have water on them...we were fishing a river channel.
It was the best trip of my life..dream about it still
