I too, started fishing with my dad at don pedro as a little boy. Would'nt even take time out for a lunch break whren I knew a bass might take my ol injured minnow or plunker. Love to fish and chase the stripers at the delta. Just wish I knew the hot spots. I throw magnum spooks, lunker punkers, fish traps,most bass top waters, pencil poppers and always have a stacey or pearl rapala tied on. Did you ever fish or had a chance to fish the Amazon! I fished the rio-negro once and the madera system once. I guess thats the real reason I like chasing stripers. There is nothing to equal a 20 lb. plus peacock busting your offering. I think they have a little more attitude than most fresh-water fish including the Amazon. I'd love to see you in the Amazon stoking those peacocks and other critters that call it home. I can put you on the right people if you maybe want to test their strengh? A nice, lets say about a 2 hour video of that trip would top it off. Again, thanks for all those blow-ups.
